Swenson Supply LLC sells culvert pipe and drainage products in Colorado. This page explains what information we collect when you request a quote, call us or browse this website, what we do with it, and who else sees it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

What we collect

When you request a quote

Our quote forms ask for your name, phone number, email address, and details about the job, such as pipe size, quantity and where it is going. We need these to price the work and get back to you. Nothing on the form is optional decoration; if we ask for it, we use it to prepare your quote.

When you call or text

We keep records of calls and messages to our business number, including the number you called from, the time and length of the call, and any voicemail you leave. Some voicemails are transcribed to text so we can read them quickly. We use this to return your call and to keep track of what was discussed.

When you browse the site

Like most websites, this one collects technical information automatically: the pages you look at, roughly where you are in the world, what browser and device you use, and which link or advertisement brought you here. We also record how visitors move around the page, including scrolling and clicks, so we can see which parts of the site are confusing and fix them.

The services we use

We do not run all of this ourselves. These companies process information on our behalf, each under their own privacy terms:

• Google Analytics — website traffic and behaviour measurement.
• Google Ads — measures which advertisements lead to quote requests and calls. When you arrive from one of our ads, the phone number shown on the page may be swapped for a Google forwarding number that routes to us, so the call can be attributed to the ad.
• Microsoft Clarity — records anonymised session replays and heatmaps of how visitors use the pages.
• Web3Forms — delivers quote form submissions to our inbox.
• Google Workspace — quote requests are also written to a private spreadsheet so that no enquiry is lost.

Hashed contact details shared with Google

When you submit a quote request, we send Google a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number alongside the record of the submission. The scrambling happens in your own browser before anything is sent, using a one-way process that cannot be reversed — Google never receives your readable email address or phone number this way, and can only compare the scrambled value against values it already holds. This lets us see which advertisements actually produce customers. It is used for measurement, not for building a profile of you, and we do not use it to send you advertising.

What we use it for

• Preparing and sending your quote, and arranging delivery or pickup.
• Contacting you about your enquiry or an order in progress.
• Keeping our own records of who we have quoted and sold to.
• Understanding which advertisements and pages bring in real enquiries, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly.
• Improving the website where visitors get stuck.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade contact lists. We do not share your details with other suppliers or contractors for their own marketing. If we ever needed to share your information for a reason not described on this page, we would ask you first.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and order records are kept for as long as we need them for the business and its tax records, which in Colorado generally means several years. Website analytics are kept on the retention schedule set within Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will remove it from our records, except where we are required to keep it for tax purposes.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold. Email sales@swensonsupply.com and we will tell you, and correct or delete it if you want.
• Turn off Google Analytics with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
• Control advertising personalisation in your Google Ad Center.
• Block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works; our measurement simply becomes less accurate.
• Stop hearing from us. Tell us on the phone or by email and we will stop contacting you.

Children

This is a wholesale building-materials business. The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
